My Story
With more than 20 years of experience in financial services and a background in accountancy, I am able to assess both risks and opportunities for an organisation effectively. I keep a close eye on the financial impact and bring structure and clarity—always with results in mind. Since April 2019, I have been Director Finance & Staff at NHG, responsible for Finance & Control, Human Resources, Risk, Legal & Compliance, and Office Management.
Collaboration and sustainability are core values for me. That’s why I immediately said “yes” when I first came into contact with the EEM NL Hub in May 2021. It is an association established by banks and related financial institutions, dedicated to translating European sustainability legislation into suitable, workable guidance and a framework for the Netherlands—something you simply want to be part of. From NHG, I bring an independent perspective, particularly with the consumer in mind, while of course thinking along with lenders as well.
At the official establishment and registration of Energy Efficient Mortgages Netherlands in November 2021, I was elected as a board member and also took on responsibility for the association’s financial administration as Treasurer. In September 2025, I was elected Chair. In this role, I aim to preserve what already works well—especially collaboration in the working groups, the delivery of documentation, and responses to consultations—while further strengthening our European presence and engagement with policymakers, so that we can create even more direct impact.
