Mission statement
The EEM NL Hub brings together Dutch mortgage lenders, investors, and service providers to support the national implementation of sustainable finance regulation. As a market-driven association, we focus on legal interpretation, data application, and stakeholder coordination to support the financing of energy efficiency housing.
Our Story
Founded in 2021, the EEM NL Hub began as a shared ambition: to make Dutch homes more energy-efficient through better mortgage solutions. What started with a few pioneers has grown into a powerful coalition representing over 90% of the market —uniting lenders, investors, and experts. Together, they translate complex EU rules into practical tools like the Dutch Energy Efficient Mortgage Framework (DEEMF).
In themed working groups, members tackle real-world challenges — from data to regulation — with one goal: to make green finance work on the ground. The Hub is where policy meets practice, turning ambition into action for a more sustainable housing future.
