The European Commission has published draft amendments to the EU Taxonomy framework, aiming to simplify reporting requirements. Key proposals include exempting companies from reporting on activities that account for less than 10% of turnover and reviewing the “do no significant harm” criteria. New economic activities are also expected to be added.
The public consultation has closed, and adoption of the first changes is expected in June 2025. Further updates are anticipated in 2026.
